Purpose of the Position:
• To manage FNB – Tanzania’s Credit Support Function for businesses and corporate in order to optimize return on assets
• To make recommendations on policies and procedures relating to credit in order to improve the long term management of risk and to achieve profitability

• A minimum of B. Com College
• A minimum of 5 years lending/credit related banking experience as the Head of the Credit department

Job Summary

Reporting Relationships

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with other Program Communications team members, Program Specialists and LOP Specialists for various communications information processing.
• Generates, organizes, records, and tracks child, mother-child unit (CSP) and student (LOP) information and correspondence documents. Monitors quality of documents and prepares them for entry into the database for dispatching. Assists with other clerical tasks such as filing, copying, sorting and recording.
• Produce electronic child information data by entering child and sponsorship data into database. Produces database reports and maintains computer files.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the SDS Supervisor.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required
• Mature Christian person, based on evangelical Christian values; has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is above reproach in integrity and honesty.
• At least University degree in Community Development, Social Science, Public Administration and Mass Communication.

3. Audits on a full range of manual standards; (i.e. management, operational, staffing, legal, planning, procedural, and financial compliance).
4. Uses a facilitative approach in conducting all partnership and project audits.
5. Coordinates travel and audit schedule with appropriate Program Implementation and Ministry Services staff
6. Provides required documentation and information for local partnership and project audits
• Provides regular reports and insights to Partnership Auditor Team Lead on partnership and program audit findings
1. Raises awareness of compliance shortfalls and concerns based on audit results.
2. Brings attention to specific areas of risk based on audit findings.
3. Provides insights and analysis of specific areas to address as a result of the audit results.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To manage and control all company account Receivable ensuring that all company debts are correctly recorded adequately secured and paid for on time to improve cash flow and minimize loss through bad debts
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSBILITIES
• Ensure complete, prompt and correct billing and subsequent dispatch of invoices to the right parties to aid in prompt payment to ensure and increase cash flow and minimize bad debts
• Ensure that commissions offered are correct and authorized.
• Regular follow up of debtors, including personal visits to ensure invoices are paid on due dates. All overdue accounts should be reported monthly and recovery action taken
• Ensure that all debtors accounts are promptly and properly reconciled to reflect correct balances for fair statement of financial statements
• Prepare weekly/monthly budget and actual report of collections.
• Undertake daily receipts allocations and Prepare monthly debtors’ statement of account including age analysis not later than 8th of every month.
• Liaise with Commercial on processing credit application forms for new customers and Ensure that credit limit is observed and excesses if any should be approved
• Ensure that sales agents comply with the sales contract.
• Review and keep custody of all signed and approved Credit application forms and other contracts with Customers.
• Ensure queries raised by both internal and external customers are resolved in a timely manner and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and support to the staff under supervision to motivate them and enhance morale and productivity.
• Liaise with Internal and external auditor with guidance from Chief Accountant or Manager Reporting on all matters related to audit of account receivables.
• Ensure good filing system is maintained at all times for ease of reference and retrieval of supporting documents to support outstanding debts.
